Trade volume = 6 lots; 1 lot = 100,000 units

Trade size = 6 * 100,000 = 600,000 units

Account currency exchange rate = 1.1216

Margin = 600,000 / 500 * 1.1216 = $1,345.92

Example 2

You are trading 6 lots of EURUSD using 1:500 leverage on your FXFair account denominated in EUR.

Trade volume = 6 lots; 1 lot = 100,000 units

Trade size = 6 * 100,000 = 600,000 units

Margin = 600,000 / 500 = €1,200
